Delivering School Supplies

The school year has begun and with your kind hearts and sponsorship money, each child going into Kindergarten & 1st grade received their uniforms, (custom made) with both tennis shoes and nice black dress shoes to wear with their uniforms, backpacks and school supplies!
These children are so proud and look very sharp!

The Gift of Giving

With the help of some very generous people in both California and Michigan, we were able to buy gifts for 60+ children and give them a Christmas that they otherwise may not have gotten! The 4 of us from the HIM Guatemala staff wore our santa hats and carried a BIG black trash bag full of gifts to the schools. It was by far one of the most rewarding days for us as adults, but I'm sure for the children also! (Or that at least that is what their smiles told me!)
Enjoy the pictures and a piece of Christmas in Guatemala!
